Why I started this.

The short version: 25 years of building real businesses taught me exactly what breaks, and most web designers have never had to deal with any of it.

I've been building and running businesses since the late '90s. Domain investing since 2001. Ad sales. E-commerce. An ad network I grew from nothing to 2 billion monthly impressions across 150+ countries. A PizzaForno franchise at the University of Guelph (yes, the viral pizza vending machine is mine). Along the way, I dealt with every website and tech problem in the book.

Broken forms. Contact pages sending leads to spam. Sites invisible on Google. Booking requests that slipped through the cracks because there was no system. I didn't learn how to fix those things from a course. I learned because I was losing money when they didn't work.
