FAQ

The honest questions everyone asks.

Will it sound like a robot?

If we build it right, no. We train every agent on your real customer conversations, your tone, and your way of writing. Most of our clients' customers can't tell. The trick is restraint — short messages, your voice, real answers.

What if it says something wrong?

Two safeguards: a strict "what it can and can't talk about" boundary, and a kill switch you can hit any time. We also flag every conversation that goes off-script so you can review weekly. Realistically, the rare odd reply is still better than the lead going to voicemail at 11pm.

Do I need to be technical?

Not at all. You give us your services, FAQs, hours, and any quote forms or emails you've already written. We do the building. You get a simple dashboard with a chat preview and an on/off switch.

Can it actually book to my calendar?

Yes — Calendly, Google Calendar, Acuity, or your own booking tool. The agent handles the back-and-forth (when works for you?, what's the job?, what's the address?) and drops the meeting straight in.

What does the monthly cost actually cover?

About 60% of it is API costs to OpenAI or Anthropic (each conversation costs us a few cents). The other 40% covers ongoing tuning, monitoring, and our time when something needs adjusting. We pass the API costs through at cost — no markup.

Can I cancel?

Any time, no penalty. The Working Agent tier has a 30-day money-back guarantee on the setup fee too. If it doesn't pay for itself in the first month, you get the setup back.

Do you build voice agents (phone calls)?

Yes — under the Custom Build tier. Voice is more complex (handling interruptions, accents, real-time latency), so we treat it as a custom project. Most small businesses don't need voice yet — text-based agents handle 90% of the use cases.

Where does my data live?

Your conversation data lives in our infrastructure (we use Anthropic and OpenAI on enterprise-tier accounts that don't train on your data). We never sell or share customer data. You can export everything any time and delete it on cancel.
